Reverend Belynda B. Gentry
Reverend Belynda B. Gentry is an ordained minister of the gospel. She serves as an Associate Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden under the leadership of Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr. She has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden since January 1975. Reverend Belynda accepted Christ at the age of 12. In October 1990, she accepted her call from God, into the gospel ministry and was licensed on May 5, 1992. Reverend Belynda was ordained on May 14, 2001.

She is the Director of the Missions Ministries Department at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden. This department includes 8 ministries: Domestic Missions, Dorcas, Feed the Hungry, Global Missions, H.O.P.E., Prison, Share, and Willing Workers. The department is impacting the World for Christ—locally, nationally and internationally.

Since 1992, Reverend Belynda has traveled extensively across five continents sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Out of God’s calling her to the mission field, Reverend Belynda founded and currently serves as CEO of “Go Ye…” Ministries Worldwide, Inc., an organization dedicated to the spreading of the gospel through preaching and teaching God’s Word and meeting temporal needs of God’s people around the world.

Reverend Belynda mentors over 23 women. Along with her husband, they serve as spiritual parents to nearly 30 men and women.

Reverend Belynda has conducted workshops on event planning for numerous churches and has facilitated the planning of women’s retreats for churches throughout the Washington metropolitan area.

Reverend Belynda is the devoted and loving wife of Deacon William G. Gentry, Jr., the mother of four children, and grandmother of fourteen.

Reverend Belynda lives by Psalms 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at ALL times and His praises shall continually be in my mouth.”
